Portrait Procedure:
- Meet, discuss vision of portrait, where it will be placed, clothing, background, mood of piece
- Collect down payment (1/2 of commissioned price) and schedule a photo session (if posthumous, will collect photos)
- After taking a variety of photos, we will select a few of them for reference photos
- Following the selection, we may schedule a sitting (1-2 hours). Subject will pose from life and artist will make preliminary color study of skin tone, eyes, hair.
- Artist will consult with client prior to finishing portrait.
- When work is complete (this may take several months), you may view the portrait (or an 8x10 photo, if you live at a distance)
- Upon approval, the balance will be paid.
Work may be picked up, delivered, or mailed in secure packaging. Framing may be considered if agreed to initially.

Clients may commission other types of paintings such as a
- house portrait (of exterior of home and property)
- views from property, or special places (vacation property)
- landscapes (either from life or photos)
- still life (arrangements can be customized for a specific color scheme, or contain personal items).
